With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn J. Kurn of Freeland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Braun and Edna Braun (Ahlgrim); her husband Dr. Samuel Kurn; and her brothers, Robert and Gerald Braun.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Kern (Ellen), Jeffrey Kurn, Nancy Kurn and Dr. David Kurn (Olga); her grandchildren, Dr. Heidi, Steven, Michael, Sara, Kristina and Spencer; her sister Maryann Preisinger; and her sister-in-law Lois Braun.
