He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel M. Schimm and Evelyn Schimm (Klienke); his parents-in-law, Russell and Helen Sieggreen; and his brothers-in-law, James Sieggreen, Dale Sieggreen and Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Judy M. Sieggreen; his sons, Steven Schimm (Nancy) and Michael Schimm; his grandchildren, Megan Caitlin, Gabe and Alyssa; his sister Carol Kernstock (Tom); and his cousin Bob.
