She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Wade and Nellie Wade (Velliquette); her husband Gordon J. Luchies; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth, Keith Walsworth, Sr., Doris Hagood, Marjorie, William Ensing (Bud), Alvedor Luchies, Alvin (Al), Norma Luchies and Harvey Luchies.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Johnson (Bruce) of Lexington, Lisa Maynard (Brian) of Fremont and John Luchies (Kelly) of Newaygo; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Frens (Roger). She is also survived by several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Reformed Church (721 Hillcrest Ave, Fremont, MI 49412). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be given to The Fremont Christian School Endowment Fund at the Fremont Area Community Foundation, or to the Newaygo County Compassion Home.
