The passing of Clara Schoenmaker of Fremont, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 6, 2026 at the age of 96. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Raymond and Anna Raymond (Nelson); her husband George W. Schoenmaker; her children, Gary, Larry Schoenmaker and Jan Burrous-Farrell; her grandson Jeremy Schoenmaker; and her siblings, Harold, Lloyd Raymond and Marge Craaybeek.

She is survived by: her sons, Tom Schoenmaker (Gayle) of Clarkston, MI and Bruce Schoenmaker (Naomi) of Newaygo, MI. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter; and by numerous nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church, or to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
