He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Cope and Marguerite Cope (Ball); his sons, Doug Cope Jr. and David Cope; and his grandson Bruce Pope Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Cope (Vickie); and his brother Michael Cope.
