She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Strube and Laura Strube (Hall); her husband William Smith Sr.; her daughter Judy Smith; her grandson Richard Smith Jr.; her great grandchild Braiden Smith; her brother Charles Strube; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Drake and Susan Strube.
She is survived by: her sons, William Smith, Jr. (Jennifer), Richard Smith, Sr. (Racheal Ring) and Paul Smith (Secelia); her siblings, Donald Strube, James Strube (Carol), Edward Strube (Brenda) and Shirley Medema (Dennis); and her sisters-in-law, Jane Drake, DiAnna Smith and Diane Strube. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hesperia American Legion Post #411 (4075 S 198th Ave, Hesperia, MI 49421).
