James Bernard Webber Obituary
We announce the death of James Bernard Webber (Fremont, Michigan), who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 86. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jerome and Cornelia "Cora" Adriana Webber (Braat); and his brother Ronald Webber. He is survived by: his wife Helen Rentz; his children, James Webber (Georgia), Michael Webber (Tami), Robert Webber, David Webber, Bonnie Kelly (Mark), Judy Burr and Keith "Buddy" Burr (Denise); and his siblings, Larry Webber (Sandy) and Mary Klein (Denny Hawkey). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, & 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bridgeton Baptist Church (6031 W 104th St, Fremont, MI 49412). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be given to Wounded Warrior Project.
