It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Lee VanAgtmael of Fremont, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ortendahl and Mildred Ortendahl; her husband Neil VanAgtmael; her daughter Sally; her grandchildren, Erica, Chase and Baylee; and her brother-in-law Robert Carr.
She is survived by: her children, David VanAgtmael, Linnea Weed (Tommy), Kristine VanAgtmael and Suzanne MacPherson; her grandchildren, Erin (Brent), Jamie, Justin (Elizabeth), Brandon (Amanda), Sydney (Zach), Stephanie (Tim), Emily (Scott), Nathanael (Ashlee) and Philip; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Macie, Draven, Evan, Celeste, Milla, Halee, Hakeem, Isaac and Emma; her sister Joyce Carr; and her daughter-in-law Carole Comer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
