It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karin Jane VanderLaan of Fremont, Michigan, born in Grandville, Michigan, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, William VanderLaan and Beulah Marie VanderLaan (Rupert); her children, Leona Carper (Jeff) of Crocker, Missouri, Robert Jackson Jr. (Sherry) of Muskegon and Carol Orban of Holland; her siblings, Lee Newell (Kay) of Grant, Terry VanderLaan of Grand Rapids, Barbara Bielfuss of Grandville, Suzette VanderLaan and Willie; and her brother-in-law Bernie Evans. She was also cherished by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
