He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Addison Wardell and Jane Elizabeth Wardell (Timleck); his son Lynn Robert Wardell, Jr.; his great grandchild Faith Lawrence; and his sisters, Elinor Quinn and Beverly Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Janete Wardell (Elsenheimer); and his children, Karen Mendham (Steve), Sue Geatz (Michael) and Jeff Wardell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
