With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max M. Torrey of Fremont, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Torrey and Rose Torrey (Zechlinski); his wife Karen F. Evans; his sister Sally Cooke; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Vargo, Lois Torrey and Bob Pletcher.

He is survived by : his children, Edward D. Torrey (Pam) of White Cloud, Diana M. Relford (Jan) of Hesperia, Max M. Torrey, Jr. (Tiffany) of Holton, Cheryl L. Burdick (Simon) of Fremont and Joseph C. Torrey; and his siblings, Tom Torrey of Muskegon, Karen Pletcher of Muskegon and Bruce Torrey (Mary) of Muskegon. He is also survived by Twin Lake; 31 grandchildren & 33 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Harbor Hospice.
