We announce the death of Richard William Roberts of Fremont, Michigan, who passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 88. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jack Roberts and Dorothy Auld (Robert Auld); his niece Sharon Mapes; and his great-niece Beth Cook. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Helen Salo Roberts; his sons, Matthew Roberts (Kristen) and Timothy Roberts (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Penn, Lydia, Whitaker, Blythe and Jude; and his nephew John Auld (Jean Anne).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to one of the many organizations Bill donated his time and money to: Fremont Christian School, TrueNorth, Love Inc., the Salvation Army, and Calvin University.
