She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Sayles and Elvira Sayles (Durkee); and her husband Robert Rodgers. She is survived by: her son David Rodgers; her grandchildren, Michon Blain (James), Matthew Rodgers, Melyssa Rodgers (Jason Wilks) and Logan Rodgers; and her great grandchildren, Trey, Travis, Acelynn, Grayson, Rylee and Colton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Newaygo County Animal Shelter.
