She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Gates and Dorothy Gates (Bunker); her husband Vernon L. Blamer; her son Bradley P. Blamer; her grandson Brandon Blamer; her great grandchild Camille Colbert-Knox; and her brother Gary Gates.
She is survived by : her children, Rhona Colbert (Mike) of North Muskegon, Lynn Hurley (Bob) of Tampa, Florida, Joni Blamer-West (Brad) of Fremont, Christy Norman (Dave) of Fremont and Dan Blamer (Barbie Jenkins) of Mt. Rainier, Maryland; and her close friends, Jack Gillette and Ardyce VanArman. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Fremont Area District Library or Promedica Hospice in memory of Shirley.
