We are sad to announce that, on May 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Lee Maat of Fremont, Michigan, born in Hesperia, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Almer Maat; her children, Jayne Baughan and Everett Maat; her parents, Charles DeLong and Muriel Eileen DeLong (Norris); and her siblings, Charles DeLong, Vionne James, Margorie DeLong, Elaine Roberson, Maxine Annis and Everett DeLong.
She is survived by: her children, Laurel Maat, Mary Hale (Jeff), James Maat (Annette) and Karl Maat; her grandchildren, Jason Frantz, Derek Frantz, Christopher Baughan, Andrew Maat, Steven Maat, Robert Hale and Megan Maat; and her great grandchildren, Lyllie Baughan, William Maat and David Maat.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Lake Community Bible Church, a cause that was near and dear to Shirley's heart.
