We announce the death of William Robert Binns Jr. in Fremont, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 65. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Binns Sr. and Shirley Ann Binns; his wife Jan Haggerty Binns; his nieces, Kelly Jo Kies, Dawn Binns and Mercedyz Binns Austin; and his brothers, Joseph W. Binns and David A. Binns.
He is survived by: his son Cody Binns (Claire); his grandchildren, Eloise, Winnie and Maverick; his sisters, Karla Kies (Dan) and Christiene Binns Beckley; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Tibbe (Cherie), Sara Tibbe, Danelle Golden (Johnny), Christy LaClear (David), Jenna Binns, Darcie Witte (Mike), Mary Dallo (Marcus), David Binns Jr. and Shawnee Piela (Josh).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests any donations be made to The Newaygo County Compassion Home, or Harbor Hospice whose staff provided compassionate care for Bill in his final days.
