It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Hendrika Hazard (Fruitport, Michigan), who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Willem Donkern and Florda Donkern; her husband Joseph Hazard; her son Donald Hazard; her grandson Michael Joseph Hazard Jr.; and her great grandchild Michael Joseph Hazard III.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Hazard, Raymond VanDerHoeven (Corky), Herbert VanDerHoeven, Carrie Dill (Gary) and Stanley Hazard (Nichole). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
