She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy Beaune and Louise Beaune (Burmeister); her husband Edward Achterhoff; her stepmother Rose; and her brother Oliver.

She is survived by : her son Allen Lee Beaune (Elizabeth); and her stepsons, Brian, Steve and David Achterhoff (Carrie).

She spent her life donating to different organizations - St. Jude's, Feeding America, American Lung Association, Toys for Tots, and Habitat for Humanity just to name a few.
