With solemn reverence, we commemorate Arvilla M. Myers of Gaastra, Michigan, whose life came to an end on June 6, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Baker and Caroline Baker Sr. (Smith); her son Daniel Myers; her brothers, Victor Baker and Lester Baker Jr.; and her great grandchild Ryder Malkin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Yvonne Myers (Greg Ayers) of Gaastra, Frances Leukhardt (Martin) of Oak Harbor, WA, Shelly McGhee (Kelly) of Branch, MI and Kimberly Sanders (Robert) of Baldwin, MI; and her siblings, Robert Baker (Linda) of Custer, MI, James Baker of Clinton, MI and Frances Parsons (Gary) of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and five bonus grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 11 bonus great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Iron River (800 Selden Rd, Iron River, MI 49935). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
