He is survived by: his wife Cheri; his children, Dina Petit and Matthew Petit; his grandchildren, Taylor Dawson (Garrison), Ryan Petit, Logan Petit and Zoe Petit; his siblings, Linda Sutherland, Shelia Marks, Susan Norman (Bill), Michael Petit (Karen), Deborah Burns, Mark Petit (Teresa), Brian Petit (Sharon) and Lisa Johnson (Tom); and his sister-in-law Beverly Petit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
