With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annie Bell Thurston (Galesburg, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Curry Brackins and Nettie Brackins; her husband John; her siblings, Velma Vann, Idell Hodge, Irene Thompson, Agnes Doering and Howard Curry; and her son-in-law Roger Ambs.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Bolen (Rodger), Sandra Ambs (late Roger) and John Thurston, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kelly Doran (David Kelly), Andy Doran (Mary Jo), Sarah Leese (Eric), Laura Bolen (Chris Smith), Crystal Thurston and Danielle Higdon (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Jade Doran (Cortney), Tate Doran, Davious Doran, Marissa Currier (Hunter), Dominic Doran, Bryson Bolen, Andrew Leese and Jonathan Leese; and her great great grandchildren, Maia Doran, Myles Doran, Kaysen Currier and Charlotte Currier.
