Beverly A. Carter age 78 of Galesburg passed away Monday June 29, 2026, at Centrica Rose Arbor Place. Beverly was born June 18, 1948, in Sarnia Ontario, Canada the daughter of Leonard and Frieda Maness. Beverly was a graduate of Port Huron High School, and a member of the Aamjiwnaang Chippewa Tibe of Sarnia. She retired from the engineering department at Chrysler Motors. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and traveling. Surviving are her husband, Bob Carter; daughter, Dawn (Rich) Marrese; four grandsons, Bobby Kulanda, Anthony Kulanda, Christopher (Evangeline) Jacobs, Jeremy Jacobs; two granddaughters, Heather Jacobs, Rebecca Coker; great-granddaughter, Leona Jacobs; brother, Gregory Maness; five nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Troy Coker; parents; two brothers, Jeffrey Maness, Gary Maness.
