It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allen Gates of Galesburg, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Gates and Dorothy Gates (Gentry); his adoptive father Gary Kamrowski; and his brother Mike Gates. He is survived by : his children, Charlie and Devin Gates; his siblings, Robert Gates (Katie), Gary Kamrowski (Michelle) and Trish Fick (Jeremiah); and his grandmother Rita Sparks.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Chef Therapeutic Riding Center or Galesburg-Augusta Automotive Dept.
