He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Chopp; and his siblings, Marty Chopp and Tina Chopp. He is survived by: his mother Janet Chopp (Giddings); his wife Becky Chopp; his children, Kyle Chopp, Brian Nutter, Ricky Nutter, Megan Wyman and Morgan Wyman; his grandchildren, Cameron, Dakotah, Carter, Lily, Jackson and Kingston; and his siblings, Ron Chopp (Diane), Brenda Beck and Dan Chopp (Karol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Antwerp Township Hall (24821 Front St, Mattawan, MI 49071). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
