It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Joan Bayer (Galesburg, Michigan), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fredrick Stark and Flossie Stark (Kasun); her husband Raymond Bayer; and her sister Joyce Yax. She is survived by : her daughters, Vickie Diebold (Michael) and Cindy Welch (Robert); her grandchildren, Michal Welch, Charlie Welch (Allie), Elliot Welch, Benjamin Diebold, Veronica Diebold Pointon (Jacob), Catherine Diebold, John Diebold and Matthew Diebold; her sister Carol Smith (Al); her brother-in-law Dick Yax; her niece Lesley Smith; and her nephews, David Yax (Tracy) and Joseph Yax.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Judy to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
