Mark Richard Ferrin Obituary

Mark Richard Ferrin age 63 of Galesburg passed away August 21, 2026. Mark was born in Lansing, MI, on March 19, 1963, the son of Richard L and Marilyn (Ommen) Ferrin. Mark was a graduate of Lakewood High School and was an accomplished flooring specialist for Central Tile. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, dirt biking and reading. He also enjoyed researching medical and political issues. Recently he had been into drones and virtual reality. Mark loved his children more than they will ever know. He saw his children, Ben, Faith and Emily, who survive him as his greatest accomplishments. Mark is also survived by his sisters, Tina Ferrin (Ralph) Bryant and Teresa Ferrin (Jerry) Evans; niece, Meggin Evans; nephews, Alex Evans; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and many close caring friends who remained in his life through all the highs and lows. Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
