He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Hammond and Willonore Hammond (Willitts). He is survived by : his wife Sara "Sally" (Schliess); and his children, Georgina Thomas (Kenny), Elizabeth Reisterer (Ron), Michael Hammond (Allison), William Hammond (Lisa) and Leo Hammond. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
