He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Blodgett and Esther Blodgett; and his brothers, Jerry, Bert and Dan Blodgett.

He is survived by: his children, Angela Schwili (Brian) and Chad Blodgett; his sister Jeanette Skippers; his grandchildren, Shane (Alyssa), Brandon Schwili, Coleton and Hunter Blodgett; and his great grandchildren, Peyton and Claira Schwili. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
