Charles Debono Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Debono (Garden City, Michigan), who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary; his children, Charles Debono, Jr., John Debono (Marie), Diane DiFiore (Mark) and Ron Debono (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Gabriella (Matthew), David, Steve, Shawn, Leandra (Patrick), Bryan, Erin, Mallory and Joshua; and his great grandchildren, Bennett and Kameron. He was also cherished by many family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home (1139 Inkster Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). A rosary was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Church of the Divine Child (1055 Silvery Ln, Dearborn, MI 48128). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
