It is with sadness that the passing of David Sosnowski (Garden City, Michigan) is shared. David, born on January 30, 1939, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth and Marcel Sosnowski; and his siblings, Jerry Sosnowski (Paula), Jim Sosnowski and Tom Sosnowski (Lorraine).
He is survived by: his sister Marcia Leonard; and his godchild Jerry, Jr.. He is also survived by nephews and 4 nieces and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John N. Santeiu & Son, Inc. (1139 Inkster Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
