He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his son Edward; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his children, Trisha L. Whitaker, Penny Immel (Steve) and Laurie Kurke (Tom); his grandchildren, Mikael Whitaker, William Whitaker (Paul), Minta Dresselhouse (Casey), AJ Kurke, Dylan Kurke, Jessica Immel and Lindsey Immel; his great grandchild Cody Dresselhouse; and his brother Larry.
