He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Cynthia; his children, John and Linda Highland; his grandchildren, Jason, Timothy Highland and Melissa Booth; his great grandchildren, Alicia, Ashley Highland, Rorey, Eien, Ella and Alice Booth; and his nieces and nephews, Carl, Dorothy May, Thomas and Carolyn Cyrus.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. G. & G. R. Harris Funeral Home (31551 Ford Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
