It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William McBride of Garden City, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia; his brother Ken McBride of Northville, MI; his daughters, Debra McNamara (Ed), Amy Wendell (John) and Beth Newman (Paul); his grandchildren, Thomas McNamara (Amanda), Emily Gagnon (Stefan), Andrew Newman (Jaclyn), Maureen Roessel (Steven), Jaclyn Chang (David), Madison Wendell and Evan Wendell; and his father John. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
