We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2024 we had to say goodbye to George W. Cole of Garden, Michigan, born in Williamston, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Cole and Agnes Cole; his sons, Matthew and Michael Cole; and his siblings, Lee, Raymond Cole and Jean Hotchkiss.
He is survived by : his wife Betty J. Laux; his children, Lawrence Cole (Cynthia) of Sunfield, MI, John Cole (Michelle) of Houghton Lake, MI, Rick Laux (Jane) of Fayette, MI, Joanna Cole of Engadine, MI, Carla Flodin (Tom) of Manistique, MI and Connie Ball of Sault Ste; and his sister Betty King (Paul) of Vermontville, MI.. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hinks Cemetery.
Memorial donations in George's memory may be made to Schoolcraft Memorial Homecare and Hospice or to the Fayette Congregational Church's Maintenance Fund.
