He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dreffs and Hedwig Dreffs (Silvinski); his wife Agnes; his siblings, John (Frances), Louis (Jane), Casey (Alice), Frank, Sophie and Ann (Robert); his son Robert; his great-daughter Emmersyn Kay; and his great grandchild Knox.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald (Gerri), James (Ann), Gerald and Darlene; and his grandchildren, Tracy, Andrea, Mark, Allan, Brian, Steven, Gregory, Jeffery, Douglas, Adam and Danita. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (606 N Ohio Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
