He was predeceased by: his parents, George Westphal and Colleen Westphal; his children, Tim Westphal, Janet Ball and Jack Jones; and his children-in-law, Diane Westphal and Robert Carpenter.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Westphal of Three Rivers, Thelma Carpenter of Three Rivers, Rodney Westphal of Mancelona, Robert Westphal (Karen) of Gaylord, Chuck Westphal (KayAnn) of Willard, UT., David Westphal (Tammy) of Gypsum, KS and Keith Westphal (Maryann) of Wasilla, AK; and his sisters, Marie Cleveland of Marsalis, MI and Laura McClain of Jones, MI.. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 50 great-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family memorial service will follow.
