We bid farewell to Darryl M. Taskey of Gaylord, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 7, 2026 at the age of 71. Darryl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Taskey and Marion Taskey (Kassuba); and his brothers, Benji, Kenny, Bob, Les and Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his daughter Tonya Fisher (George); his stepchildren, Veronica Short (Adam) and Nicholas Grenke; his sons, Michael and Matt; his grandchildren, Ryan, Hannah, Steele, Wyatt, Wade, Xandra and Kade; his siblings, Terry Taskey (Carol) of Florida and Jean Hague (Michael) of Florida; and his sister-in-law Edith Sides-Taskey of Gaylord. He is also survived by 3 other sisters and many, many nieces and nephews.

Darryl instructed Theresa to make a large donation to the St. Judes Children's Hospital on Father's Day this year in memory of Darryl.
