With sadness, we share the passing of David B. Mackowiak of Gaylord, Michigan. David, born on September 10, 1968, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember David for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Mackowiak and Sharon Mackowiak; and his father-in-law Dean Allor. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Mackowiak of Gaylord; his son Tristan Mackowiak of Gaylord; his siblings, Dan Mackowiak (Melissa) of Gaylord, Cassie Wyles (Todd) of Florida and Dennis Mackowiak (Lisa) of Gaylord; his brother-in-law Todd Jaruzel (Lori) of Gaylord; and his mother-in-law Denise Allor of Gaylord. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Eagles Hall (515 S Wisconsin Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735).
