It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Lee Cherup (Gaylord, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Steve Guymer; her parents, John and Mary; and her sister-in-law Sharon Guymer. She is survived by: her pet Labrador; her husband Timothy Cherup; her children, Leo (Amy), Jon and Dakota; her grandchildren, Alexa, Abigael, Anabelle, Ashton, Alijah, Ayden and Samantha; and her great grandchild Miles.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Nelsons Cremation & Funeral Services (135 N Center Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
