He is survived by: his wife Lori LaFave; his siblings, Debra Hamann (Paul) of Clinton Township, Robert LaFave (Sue) of St. Clair Shores and Keith LaFave of Lakeport; and his nieces and nephews, Matt LaFave, Laura Holman, Aaron Rohrbeck, Monica Hamann, Robert LaFave Jr. and Andrea Shortt.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service (850 N Center Ave, Gaylord, MI 49735). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
