Rita M. Boyer Obituary
In loving memory of Rita M. Boyer of Gaylord, Michigan, who departed this world on July 27, 2025 at the age of 82. Rita leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ottney and Ruth Ottney (McNaney); her husband Roy W. Boyer, MD; her siblings, Bob Ottney and Pat Vaughn; and her brother-in-law Frank Sereiko.
She is survived by: her children, Therese "Teri" Noeske (Jeff) and Richard Marchese; her stepchildren, Brad Boyer (Bernadette), Bruce Boyer (Stephanie), Brian Boyer (Laura), Jennifer Hedlund (David) and Dianna Rose (David); and her siblings, Tom Ottney (Gerry) and Carol Sereiko. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gaylord E-Free Church (1649 M-32, Gaylord, MI 49735). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center (She was on the founding board) or made to a charity of choice.
