He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon Ayre and Helen Ayre; his grandson Joel Roy; and his siblings, Sheldon "Sonny" Ayre, Dorothy Masson and Stanley Ayre.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ayre; his daughters, Bethany Roy (Randall) and Lynn Culver (Steve); his grandchildren, Jessica Spangler (Brandon), Alexa Moradi (Aaron), Cameron Culver (Hannah), Garrett Culver (Sadie), Carissa Kuhn (Konrad), Luke Roy (Jewel), Michaela Bourns (Timothy) and Isabella Culver; and his siblings, Martha English and John Ayre (Patricia).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Davison Missionary Church (1481 N Gale Rd, Davison, MI 48423).
