It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Jo Nance of Germfask, Michigan, born in Newberry, Michigan, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Smith and Lillian Smith (Gareau); her siblings, Michael Smith, Kenneth Smith, James Smith and Shirley Rockhold; and her grandson Bradley Cowen.

She is survived by : her husband Billy; her children, Denise Mattson (Bill Sbonek) of Grayling, Michael Mattson of Republic, Patrick Mattson (Pilar) of Front Royal, Virginia, David Mattson (Cheri) of Germfask, Scott Nance (Kris) of Germfask, Teressa Nance of Mt. Pleasant and Chris Nance of Alanson; and her sister Kay Ehn (Phil) of South Lyon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing and masks will be required in accordance of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
