With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verla Irene Burton of Germfask, Michigan, born in Newaygo, Michigan, who passed away on November 6, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verla Irene Burton to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Burton; her son Donald; and her siblings, Elda Watson, Eula Burton, Lola Swisher, Lona Sutinen, Floyd "Cub" McGahan, Velma Smart, Mary Lou Knoll, Julius "Pete" McGahan, Edwin McGahan and Glenn McGahan.

She is survived by : her children, Pete Burton (Marnie) of Curtis, Tuffy Burton (Jodie) of Lakefield and Charleen Scott (Paul) of Kinross; her siblings, Lena McGahan of Curtis and Harland McGahan of Curtis; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Burton of Newberry. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
