He was predeceased by : his parents, William John and Mary Lucy Rutherford (Doran); and his brothers, John, George, Daniel, Kenneth and Dwight Patrick.
He is survived by : his daughter Ann Marie Rutherford of Benicia, California.; his wife Joanne; his son Bill Rutherford (Shannon) of Manistique; his grandchildren, Troy Clemons (Lauren) of Boerne, TX, Jocelin Henderson of Las Vegas, NV, Cody Rutherford (Stacy) of Morrison, CO and Taylor Rutherford of Grand Rapids; his great grandchildren, MaKenzie, Angelo, Savanna, Dallas, Troy Jr., Blake, Wyatt and Wade; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Luukkonen (Gary) of Gwinn, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in William's name may be made to the Divine Infant of Prague Catholic Church in Gulliver, MI.
