He is survived by: his wife Susan (Cole); his siblings, Gary LaPlant (Helen) of Gladstone, MI and Susan Gustafson (Kenneth) of Meridianville; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Cole (SonHi) of Wylie, TX, Carol DeShambo (Michael) of Escanaba, MI, Dorothy LaPlant of Gladstone, MI and Bev LaPlant of Gladstone, MI. He is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
