We announce the death of Ronald Stephens of Gladstone, Michigan, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 90. Ronald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ronald will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Ronald’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Stephens and Beulah Stephens (Marks); his son Keith Stephens; and his sisters, Phyllis Carlson and Nina Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Croasdell; his children, Sandy Waugus (Michael) of Wausaukee, WI and Greg Stephens of Newberry, MI; and his stepsons, Michael Kanerva of Rock, MI and Jerry Kanerva of Brighton, MI. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (903 Wisconsin Ave, Gladstone, MI 49837). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Home Cemetery.
