He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Zimmerman and Margaret Zimmerman (Sheridan); his wife Dolores Betts; and his brother Michael Paul Zimmerman. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Zimmerman, Sue Hoffmann (Dan) and Karen Huse (Dwight); his grandchildren, Lucas Zimmerman (Monica), Zachary Zimmerman (Maria), Margaret ZImmerman, Jack Zimmerman (Brittani), Ashley Cherette (Marvin), Erin Anderson (Joshua), Brent Huse (Nou) and Bonnie Pawlak (Samuel); and his great grandchildren, Eli, Landon, Ean, Eva, Josie, Cecilia, Aspen, Warrick and Soren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Church (528 28th St, Gladstone, MI 49837). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Grace Church or the UP Foster Care Services.
