It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Dickens of Gladwin, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Dickens and Viola Dickens (Land); his grandson Joshua; and his siblings, Tippy, Marylou, James and George.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Neumann; his children, Michelle Dickens, Charles Dickens Jr. (Tricia), Joseph Dickens (Odette) and Christopher Dickens (Alissa); his grandchildren, Erica, Charles III, Ally, Joseph Jr., Jared and Weston; his great grandchild Nolan; and his siblings, Thomas Dickens, Roger Dickens and Christine Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
