We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2024, at the age of 79, Dennis Wade Vannest (Gladwin, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wellington Vannest and Olive Vannest (Lucas); his brothers, Wayne, Harold and Mark Vannest; and his sister-in-law Janet Vannest.

He is survived by : his wife Susan; his children, Andrew Vannest (Alison), Daniel Vannest (Tracey) and Anna Kobs (Andrew); his grandchildren, Mikaeli VonReichbauer (Khayman), Jamison Campbell, Parker Kobs, Ruby Vannest, Reid Vannest and Lane Kobs; his siblings, Byron Vannest and Linda Staley (Roy); his cousin Mike Steinkraus (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, LaNeel, Karen and Ginna Vannest. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the New Beginnings Methodist Church in Dennis's honor.
